Women’s Grievance Cell

Purpose

The Indian constitution defines the right to equality as a fundamental right, which includes the freedom from discrimination, the right to equality before the law and equal opportunities when it comes to public employment. Important guiding principles of stated policy include equality between men and women, the right to work, education, and public assistance in cases of unemployment, old age, illness, or disability, as well as the provision of fair and humane working and maternity relief conditions.
To comply with the mandate of ‘The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013’ (the “Act”), this policy was developed.
Overall, The women’s grievance cell serves as a crucial mechanism for promoting a fair and respectful environment where women’s voices are heard, their concerns are addressed, and measures are taken to ensure their well-being and equality.
