Program Educational Objective (PEO)

PE01 Graduates of the program will possess multi-disciplinary knowledge and innovative skills to design and develop electrical and electronics products and systems, while demonstrating effective communication, interpersonal skills, and ethical and moral responsibility to work collaboratively in achieving goals.
PE02 Graduates of the programme will possess the knowledge to excel in the design, commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance of electrical equipments and apparatus in various industries.
PE03 To develop capability to understand the fundamentals of basic science for mathematically analyzing the engineering problems with futuristic approach.
PE04 To foster a confident and competent graduate capable of solving real-life practical engineering problems, fulfilling obligations towards society, and possessing the knowledge and motivation to pursue higher studies leading to research.

Program Outcomes (POs)

PO1 Engineering knowledge: Solve complex engineering problems by applying knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering principles.
PO2 Problem analysis: Identify, formulate and analyse engineering problem methodically to reach proper conclusions.
PO3 Design/development of solutions: Design a system, component or process to meet desired technical, safety, health and environmental specifications.
PO4 Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5 Modern tool usage: Design, simulate, analyse and implement electrical systems of varying complexity by using appropriate techniques and software tools.
PO6 The engineer and society: Apply knowledge gained to assess societal, safety and cultural issues relevant to the professional engineering practice.
PO7 Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
PO8 Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
PO9 Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
PO10 Communication: Communicate effectively through reports, presentations and discussions with in both the technical domain and the community at large.
PO11 Project management and finance: Capability to apply the engineering and management principles to one’s individual work and to supervise the projects as a member and team leader.
PO12 Life-long learning: Develop confidence in life-long learning by adapting to rapidly changing
technologies of electrical engineering in specialized areas allied to Electrical Engineering.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO1 Graduates will have an ability to demonstrate and fulfil the need of grooming power systems, control systems and machines to enhance sustainability in industries.
PSO2 Graduate will develop skill in investigating complex engineering problems using modern software tools for higher studies and research to apply this knowledge
for professional development.
PSO3 Graduate will able to apply their knowledge practically to assess social and cultural
issues related to energy management, hybrid electric vehicles and electrical safety.
